Job Description

Corporate Communications Manager

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to support a growing U.S. Communications team.

This role sits at the center of how the organization's story reaches both external and internal audiences across the United States. Working alongside Communications leadership and external agency partners, you will execute a corporate communications strategy that strengthens external visibility, keeps employees informed and engaged, and highlights the scientific, clinical, and business achievements across multiple business units.

The role spans three interconnected areas: external and media relations, executive and employee communications, and communications support for congresses and events programs. These events serve as key platforms for scientific thought leadership and industry engagement, creating opportunities to build compelling narratives for both internal and external audiences.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a strong writer and presentation developer who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

External Communications & Media

  • Execute proactive earned media campaigns, corporate announcements, and reputation-building initiatives in partnership with external communications agencies.
  • Develop press materials, corporate messaging, and executive visibility plans while ensuring consistency across all external-facing communications.
  • Identify and develop stories that showcase organizational growth, innovation, scientific advancements, and industry leadership.
  • Create content for U.S. corporate social media channels, including executive and corporate posts, ensuring alignment with media relations efforts and broader corporate messaging.

Executive & Internal Communications

  • Write leadership communications, organizational updates, and executive content for both internal and external audiences.
  • Lead planning and content development for Town Halls, including narrative development, presentations, speaker preparation, Q&A management, and follow-up communications.
  • Develop executive-level PowerPoint presentations that translate complex business and scientific information into compelling and visually engaging narratives.
  • Manage an internal communications calendar that coordinates business updates, enterprise initiatives, and employee engagement activities.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support organizational change communications while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Congress & Events Communications

  • Partner with Congress and Events teams to increase awareness and engagement across internal and external audiences.
  • Develop integrated communications plans for major industry congresses and internal events, including media outreach, executive visibility, social media engagement, and employee storytelling.
  • Establish a long-term communications strategy for congresses and events that builds organizational visibility and momentum year over year.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of experience in corporate, external, internal, or executive communications.
  • Proven experience developing executive and corporate communications materials, including leadership messaging, Town Hall content, Q&As, and media materials with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and presentation development skills.
  • Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to simplify complex information while maintaining accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, and agency partners in a matrixed environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience within healthcare, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, medical aesthetics, consumer health, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting senior executives across both internal and external communication channels.
  • Experience working within a global organization and adapting enterprise messaging for U.S.-based audiences.

Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator and strong storyteller who can successfully balance media relations, executive communications, employee engagement, and event communications while helping elevate organizational reputation, visibility, and thought leadership.
